lower molecular weight aggregates

I ran a protein over a Q sepharose column which nicely separated out the lower and higher molecular weight aggregates. I then ran the lower molecular weight fractions on a IEF gel and saw that the pI decreased as the % of the lower molecular weight aggregates decreased.

Does this occur due to sialation or could it be due to deamidation?
