LTP Assistant for stimulation

Hello friends, does anybody have any experience with using the  LTP Assistant in pCLAMP 9/10 software (Axon Instruments) for stimulation during extracellular LTP recording? I have tried it but not able to do good. Which mode do you recommend for use in this case, with LTP assistant..........episodic or high speed oscilloscope mode? Also, is there any other way to give appropriate stimulation for baseline and tetanus stimulation protocols, without the use of a stimulator, ie by using only the pCLAMP software and the stimulus isolator? Please somebody help me out with these problems. I am completely stuck.

Hang in there......I'm asking

Hang in there......I'm asking around for you.  I'll post again as soon as I hear anything useful.
Have you tried making a technical request at the Molecular devices web site?
The link to go to is

So I have it on pretty good

So I have it on pretty good authority that you would want to use episodic mode.
Yes, you can directly attach digital out of the A/D converter to run the stimulus isolator.
Read the pClamp10 manual, which can be downloaded from the Molecular Devices web site.  Pages 49 to 62 explains everything in detail.

In LTP Assistant there is a tab called "Baseline" where you configure the parameters to take the baseline recording and give it a name.  You can use it to configure your post-tetanus recovery and give it another name.

There is a tab called "Conditioning".  This is where you configure the parameters for the tetanus and give it a name.
Then finally there is a "sequencing" tab where you can input the named conditioning protocols and named tetanus protocol.  You give a name to the sequence protocol.

You should see a sequence of tabs on the top which represents the baseline, tetanus and recovery protocols.
You press the play button on the top and the program will go in sequence through all the protocols.
I Hope this helps.!
