USA: Postdoctoral position

A postdoctoral position is immediately available to study the regulation of dendritic cell development and function (Science 322:1097-1000, 2008). This project extends our recent work on the role of the transcription factor Batf3 in development of the cross-presenting DC subsets in vivo (Immunity 35:249-259, 2011; Immunity 35:236-249, 2011). This work will explore the transcriptional basis of cell-type specificity for Batf3 in the development of cross-presenting dendritic cell subsets. A strong background in immunology is required. Prior experience in molecular biology, retroviral gene expression, handling of mouse models, and molecular and cellular immunology is desired.
