The appointment will be on UCL Grade 8. The salary range will be £39,510 – £46,635 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
Duties and Responsibilities:

The Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience (ICN) wishes to appoint a Clinical Lecturer in Neuropsychology at the Regional Neurological Rehabilitation Unit (RNRU), Homerton Hospital, Hackney. The post-holder will work four days per week as a clinical psychologist at the RNRU and one day per week at the ICN. This post is part of the multidisciplinary team providing inpatient neurological rehabilitation including cognitive retraining and behaviour modification programmes for younger patients after acquired brain injury, plus support, education and advice for families.
The successful candidate will carry out internationally-competitive reseach leading to high-impact publications and to facilitate and participate in interdisciplinary research collaborations within and outside the Institute.
The appointment is funded for one year in the first instance, by Homerton University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and is available immediately.
Key Requirements:

Applicants will be expected to hold a PhD in Psychology or a closely related field and have knowledge of contemporary human neuropsychology and its methods. Experience of working as a hospital clinical neuropsychologist, with stroke and other brain-injury cases, and conducting independent research is required. Ability to give effective lectures and to teach on contemporary issues in the field is essential. Applicants should be able to work independently as well as collaboratively and flexibly with other members of the team.
