Position: Postdoctoral Research Associate

Responsibilities and Qualifications: The candidate will be responsible for all aspects of a project to investigate the role of inflammation and innate immunity in liver disease using isolated primary rodent cells and human tissues including data analysis, presentation and manuscript preparation. The candidate will be expected to contribute substantially toward applying for new funding.
PhD required. Prior experience using rodent models of disease required. Experience in isolation of rodent primary cells preferred. Experience in immunohistochemistry required. Experience in FACS preferred. Competent in all standard molecular biology techniques such as cell culture, DNA, RNA, protein isolation, ELISAs, RT-PCR, and multiplex assays. Knowledge of inflammatory, lipid, glucose and insulin regulatory pathways preferred.
