The candidate should have good oral and written communication skills, be capable of independent work as a part of a multi-disciplinary team, publish results in academic journals, and participate in grant proposal preparation.
Applicants should have (or be about to finish) a Ph.D. degree in Electrical, Computer, or Biomedical Engineering or a related field. The appointment is for a period of one year
Scholarship Description: The ideal candidate will be experienced with practical applications of electromechanical linear actuators, feedback control systems, digital signal processing, digital and analog electronics, embedded systems and microcontrollers, and have practical experience with programming in Labview.
Familiarity with printed circuit board design and layout and knowledge of biomedical instrumentation for the capture of such physiological signals as respiration, blood pressure, etc. are highly desirable.
