Postdoctoral Fellowship with a Specialization in Sleep and Stress at Stockholm University, Sweden
The position requires a PhD or equivalent degree in a relevant area for the job, and documented skills in field and laboratory studies using polysomnography are required.
-A foreign degree assessed to be equivalent to PhD is approved. The doctoral degree must have been completed no longer than three years before the application deadline, unless there are special circumstances, such as leave of absence because of sickness, maternity, clinical practice, work for trade unions or other similar circumstances.
-The applicant must be proficient in writing scientific text in English.
-An ability to work successfully in a team is required.
Scholarship Description: The employee will work in the Institute’s research projects focused on sleep in relation to stress, recovery, sleepiness and sleep deprivation.
The work includes the organization and participation in physiological sleep recording, sleep stage scoring, quantitative EEG analysis, statistical analysis of results, and also writing of scientific articles and research applications.
The employee is expected to develop his/her research agenda in close collaboration with the senior researchers at the Institute and in particular with the Division of biological psychology and therapy research.
