Job description:

The successful applicant for this post will work in the Stem Cell and Molecular Physiology Laboratory at the Research Institute for Sports & Exercise Sciences (5* RAE rated) on cutting edge research into vasculature associated and skeletal muscle stem cell biology and regenerative medicine. You will have a Doctorate degree in an appropriate biological/physiological discipline, research experience in a relevant area, and a commitment to establishing a career in Cell/Molecular Physiology. Specifically, lab experience in tissue culture, immunohistochemistry, qRT-PCR, Western Blot, proteomics, microsurgery and electrophysiology techniques is highly desirable.
 
The post is available to start immediately for a fixed term of 3 years. Interviews will be held 1 December 2010.
