A 2-year Kempe Foundation postdoctoral stipend is available in the laboratory of Professor Simon Tuck to study nutrient-dependent control of growth and behavior in the nematode, C. elegans. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Genetics, Molecular Biology or Behavioral Neurobiology. In our lab, we use multidisciplinary approaches to study nematode development and behavior. My lab is part of the Umeå Center for Molecular Medicine, a research center focused on whole-animal models for the study of Development, Neurobiology and the mechanistic basis of several human diseases ( The center is situated at Umeå University, one of Sweden’s top-ranked universities.
