The Postholder will fabricate and characterise few and single dopant atom devices. Device fabrication at the scale of individual atoms and molecules will be achieved using lithography implemented at the single atom scale via a scanning tunnelling microscope (STM), chemical vapour deposition (CVD) and molecular beam epitaxy (MBE).
