Dr. Ali Kosar’s group working in Microfluidics Systems Laboratory invites applications for post-doctoral positions micro/nanofluidics and nanotechnology. Successful candidates will work in Microfluidics Systems Lab of SUNUM (Sabanci University Nanotechnology Research and Applications Center). Dr. Ali Kosar’s group has broad access to SUNUM Micro/nano Fabrication Lab, which is one of the largest, well equipped and most modern cleanrooms in Turkey and is equipped with high tech, state of the art equipment specifically selected for lithography, thin film deposition and etching, testing and characterization processes that enable successful realization of micro and nano scale smart devices.
Openings for one Post doctoral Research Associate (Experience on PIV and/or microfabrication is a big plus!) for Fall 2013 is available for the following interdisciplinary and cutting edge research activities:
- Design, characterize, and fabricate new generation microfluidic systems such as micropumps and drug delivery systems
- Nanofluid applications in refrigeration, thermal management and targeted drug delivery
Ph.D degree in Mechanical /Biomedical Engineering related to Micro/Nanofluidics is required. Ability to work independently and strong interpersonal skills are expected.
