UCD Postdoctoral Research Fellow Level 1 (Neuro-Immune Communications), Medicine & Medical Science (Temporary) : Dublin, Ireland
UCD seeks applicants for a Research Specialist position (PhD or MD/PhD, Post-doctoral Research Fellow Level 1) with background in Immmunology/Neurosciences/ Cell biology with emphasis on Neuroimmunology or Neuro-Inflammation in animals and humans. This full-time, academic professional position requires the ability to carry out externally funded research either independently or collaboratively.
 
The Charles Institute is the first research institute in Ireland dedicated to translational dermatology research (Director: Prof Martin Steinhoff, MD PhD MSc). The institute is well-equipped with lab space and technology for 72 researchers with high-end core facilities for transcriptomics, mass spectrometry, proteomics, FACS, cell sorting, molecular biology, neurosciences, state-of-the-art- morphology and imaging (see www.ucd/ie/Charles and www.ucd.ie/conway). Associated with the Charles Institute are two dermatology university clinics (Director: Prof Martin Steinhoff, MD PhD MSc). Thereby, researchers will have access to animal/human studies and translational skin research.
