You will have, or being near completion of, a PhD/DPhil in a relevant field. You will possess a good academic track record for the stage of your career. You will demonstrate an ability to carry out patch clamp experiments in the whole cell configuration, and have previous laboratory experience and the ability to work with isolated cells.
You will be based in the Sherrington Building in the Department of Physiology, Anatomy and Genetics, Oxford OX1 3PT. The position is funded by Tsumura and is offered until 30 September 2015. An early start is required.
