Job of Postdoc in Cell Signaling

Postdoctoral positions are available to study molecular mechanisms of cAMP and protein kinase-mediated cell signaling in physiological systems. We are seeking motivated individuals with a Ph.D. in biochemistry, molecular biology, genetics or a related field to analyze phenotypes of knock-out mice and perform companion cell culture assays to determine the underlying molecular mechanisms. Prior mouse experience is a plus but not required. Fellows will be encouraged to develop independent project aims related to the primary focus of our laboratory. Advanced molecular biology and biochemistry skills are required for successful completion of postdoctoral study in our lab. Please mention kinase in the subject of your response. Studies will be carried out in new fully equipped laboratory space in University of Texas Health Science Center- Houston Medical School in the thriving Texas Medical Center.
Please send a cover letter detailing your research interests, your CV and the names of three references to Rebecca Berdeaux, Ph.D., Rebecca.Berdeaux@uth.tmc.edu.
