The incumbent reports to the Flow Cytometry Manager and works independently in performing daily responsibilities according to established procedures.
1. Maintain, calibrate and operate the flow cytometers to meet established performance and safety standards.
2. Perform periodic and as needed instrument maintenance.
3. Run samples for investigators as requested.
4. Maintain accurate department records including instrument use logs.
5. Perform other responsibilities as required.
Bachelor’s degree in biological science or equivalent work experience. Strong laboratory skills and ability to follow specific protocols. Strong attention to details. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
