Day to Day Responsibilities:
• Assist in the preparation and auditing of time and attendance data and lead the Corning Shared Services (CSS) Hire-to-Retire (HTR) team through bi-weekly payroll processing. Manage pay impacting data changes as requested by Human Resources, Benefits, or other divisions ensuring accuracy of information and compliance. Provide analysis of payments to employees, HTR, and leadership. Support executive compensation processes.
• Process bi-weekly payroll processes for all US based employees
• Process weekly time and attendance records for hourly/weekly employees
• Interface regularly with business partners, and vendors
• Develop and maintain documentation of relevant processes
• Identify and take initiative to implement process improvements
• Reconcile payroll files during and after each pay run to ensure accurate remittance
• Process and verify any special payments and adjustments
• Provide detailed analysis of payments upon request
• Advise HTR and business partners on data driven outcomes
• Work with all levels of Finance, Human Resources, Employee Relations and businesses to complete work.

Desired Skills:
• 2-4 years payroll experience
• PeopleSoft HR/Payroll
• In-depth knowledge of end-to-end HTR payroll processes
• Strong analytical skills
• Advanced Excel skills
• Certified Payroll Professional or Fundamental Payroll Certification
• Detail oriented & data driven
• Accounting background a plus
• Prior Shared Services experience
• Ability to work under pressure
• Plans work effectively to adhere to processing deadlines

Education and Experience:
• 4 year degree (Accounting/Business)
• 2-4 years payroll experience preferred
