Based at our Stratford campus, the School of Health and Bioscience has experienced considerable growth over the last 5 years, approximately 10-15% per annum. We are rapidly developing our post graduate and research programmes, involving wide collaboration in the UK and overseas.
We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and ambitious Laboratory Manager to develop our technical provision, with the aim of producing an enhanced, efficient and flexible technical support service to our students and academic colleagues.
You will have a good honours degree in a bioscience or biomedical subject ideally supported by a relevant postgraduate scientific and/or management qualification. You will have significant experience of managing and leading a team, have up-to-date H&S knowledge in a laboratory and a commitment to your and your staff’s CPD. Additionally you must be able to work with and communicate with a wide range of staff and students from a wide variety of backgrounds with an ability to understand and convey complex messages.
