Sales Consultant-#83095 (Primary Care Diagnostics)
Job Summary:
Sells and promotes company products. The incumbent implements the sales plan designed to achieve established sales and financial goals; calls on prospective and current company customers; involves technical personnel to resolve customers issues and problems as needed; may participate in the establishment of sales targets and design of the territory´s sales plan; and controls sales expenses.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following :
Increasing revenue in existing and competitive accounts of Distribution products; prospecting for new sales opportunities; managing the installed base and high relationship of third party distributors.
Controlling expenses within company guidelines; and, maintaining company property efficiently.
This position will sell within a defined geographical/account territory while working closely with other groups in lead sharing and defining potential prospects. Teamwork is essential as you work with other pre-sales and post-sales groups to ensure customer satisfaction.
BS degree or equivalent experience required, advance degree desired.
4-5 years Capital Equipment and/or Reagent Sales experience a plus.
Consultative selling style and solid communication/listening skills a must
