DNA Biomarkers and lung cancer

I am looking for companies that sell fluorescent probes to detect breaks in chromosomes. Patient's blood can be a source of chromosome extraction and after tagging the chromosome with red and green fluorescent probes, we can look into breaks into chromosome 5, as an indicator of lung cancer.

Biomarkers are not only used to detect lung cancer, these substances are normally present in small amounts in the blood or other tissues. Cancer cells can sometimes make these substances. When the amount of these substances rises above normal, cancer might be present in the body. Examples of biomarkers include CA 125 (ovarian cancer), CA 15-3 and 27-29(breast cancer), CEA (ovarian, lung, breast, pancreas, and gastrointestinal tract cancers), and PSA (prostate cancer).

In theory, everyone loves

In theory, everyone loves biomarkers. In practice, finding reproducible results from standard technologies is anything but simple. So finding tools for confirming biomarkers remains a white-hot area of research, not only in the vendor community but also in government. The National Cancer Institute has awarded $13.4 million to find tools to speed the discovery of cancer biomarkers in the mouse.

Please check these companies for the latest biomarker products: Cepheid, Applied Biosystems, Illumina and Affymetrix. Did I miss any other companies with biomarker diagnostic products?

There is also DR-70

There is also DR-70 manufactured as Onko-sure which is approved for colorectal cancer in the US.
