Formalin crystal artifact

We run 3 processing machines, 2 run with the usual schedule ie NBF, ethanol, xylol, paraffin wax no problem with formalin crystals. The other machine runs NBF, 3x85%ethanol, 2x80% ethanol/20 IPA (isopropyl alcohol) then 6x100% IPA, paraffin wax, in this processor we have trouble with crystal formation hence in our stained sections. I havent had much experience with IPA the manufacturer says IPA acts the same as xylol without the toxicity. Does anybody have any idears.

may be the salts used in

may be the salts used in buffer (NBF) are carried over in the subsequent steps of processing and may be  the possible cause of crystals

 Crystal formation would be

Crystal formation would be ocurring due to not maintaining the temperature and pH. Please preserve at 4*C

Thanks Pundir, thats what i

Thanks Pundir, thats what i thought so we changed the NBF to non buffered formalin with still the deposits. Since the machine was a trial model for other labs i checked the processing containers in some of them there were crystal deposits. I have cleaned out most of them but the problem persists, maybe something to do with IPA
