Hollow Fiber Bioreactors

Does anybody have experience with using hollow fiber bioreactors?

Are they more efficient than traditional bioreactors? What are the pros and cons of this equipment?

FiberCell Systems claims a 100x greater productivity than standard methods.

Any comments would be appreciated.

I once attended a presentation by Nicholas Azar. He seemed pretty clued up on hollow fibre reactors in general as well as te new technologies available.

The CELLine culture devices are based on a compartmentalization approach. Cells are cultured in a cell comp
