I have a sample which contaon Ammonium chloride,Diethyl aniline and hydrochloride salt of Diethyl aniline. I want method which gives %w/w of each component.
I do not know if there is a single procedure that can do all three components in one test.
An acid titration will measure the amount of the aniline present.
A base titration would give you the total ammonium chloride and aniline hydrochloride concentrations.
There may be some colorimetric procedures for anilines - spectrophotometric assays.
Check the organications who publish standard methods and you may find more options - USP, EP, JP, AOAC, etc.
Ion chromatograpic procedure to estimate the cationic and anionic components would help.
Yes try Ion chromatograpic procedure to estimate the cationic and anionic components.
Thanks, Tirumal
