Can anyone point me in the correct direction for finding what analytical requirements are now being enforced on the tobacco industry? I am looking for a new section in the CFR if one has in fact already been created. If a new section of the CFR has not been created, then does anyone know where a "guidance for industry" type document can be obtained? I am looking for what type of parameters are required for QC testing on both incoming raw materials as well as the finished goods (I.e. tar levels, nic. levels, maximum contaminant limits for metals, pesticides, etc.).
How much different is it than those requirements imposed by tobacco's former regulatory agency, the BATF? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
