Hi,
I'm trying to grow E. coli biofilms in a microtitre plate. I have done these using S. aureus strains before with Tryptic Soy Broth (TSB) + 3% NaCl + 0.5% Gluc. However, when I tried the same with E. coli, biofilm formation in strains that should have good growth did not.

Does anyone have a protocol/recipe for making the appropriate E. coli biofilm growth medium??

Yes, you could say that. But I'm looking for a base medium that E. coli forms a good biofilm in. I know that different strains of E. coli might react differently to medium conditions, but I just need a widely used/accepted medium for this purpose.
