Hi, I am interested in looking at nitrosylation of mitochondrial proteins. Is it possible with mass spec to identify nitrosylation sites on the proteins.

Yes it is possible. You can use biotin switch metod if you have got only protein lysate with your protein. Or you can just messure molecular weight when you have got recombinant protein
