ORGANIC CHEMISTRY
Johns Hopkins University

Department of Chemistry of Johns Hopkins University invites applications for a faculty position in the general area of organic chemistry. Applications are encouraged from organic chemists with interests at the biology interface, broadly defined. The search is directed at the Assistant Professor level, though exceptional candidates for tenured ranks will also be considered. The new position has an anticipated starting date of July 1, 2009. Applicants should submit a curriculum vitae and description of research plans as PDF attachments to chemsearch-org@jhu.edu and also arrange to have three letters of reference e-mailed by reviewers to the same address. Mail may be addressed to Organic Chemistry Search Committee, c/o Rosalie Elder, Department of Chemistry, Johns Hopkins University, 3400 N. Charles Street, Baltimore, MD 21218. Consideration of applications will begin on November 15 and will continue until the position is filled.
