TENURE-TRACK ORGANIC CHEMISTRY FACULTY POSITIONS

The Department of Chemistry at Mississippi State University invites applications for two Assistant Professor positions in Organic chemistry.

These tenure-track positions will start August 16, 2009.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry and will be expected to teach organic chemistry at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Applicants having a general background in organic chemistry and research interests in synthesis, materials, medicinal chemistry, bio-organic or a related area are encouraged to apply.

Successful applicants must demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in research and teaching and the development of an active externally funded research program is expected.
