Microbiologist Tenure-track Assistant Professor
Indiana State University
Terre Haute, Indiana, United States

The Department of Biology at Indiana State University welcomes applications for a tenure-track position in microbiology to start August, 2009. We seek an individual who applies molecular approaches to the study of bacteria, viruses, fungi, or parasites. Applicants must have a strong commitment to teaching and the ability to sustain a vigorous, externally funded research program. The successful applicant will teach general microbiology to undergraduates and specialized courses to undergraduate and graduate students (M.S. and Ph.D.). Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Microbiology or related field and postdoctoral experience is highly desirable. Applicants should apply online at https://jobs.indstate.edu.
