I used to have one of these in an old lab, but I don't remember who makes them.

I'm looking for a metal block that you keep cold and can clean, holds 96 well plates or tubes which stay cold while preparing samples for PCR.

Ideas?

We have blocks from Eppendorf that are kept in the freezer and brought out on to the bench to cool 0.5mL PCR tubes and 96 well plates used for sequencing. I had a look at Eppendorf's website and they have products "Isotherm" in various formats.

I didn't see the ones we have on the site. Ours change colour as they warm up so that you know when to exchange them for cooler ones. They are supposed to keep samples cool for over 2 hours.
