I'm doing a comparison of the two techniques, SSP (Sequence Specific Primers) and SSO (Sequence Specific Oligonucleotides), but I cannot seem to grasp the full principle in both (I understand the point of what we do and what we end up with, but I'm lacking the basic principle of what happens inbetween..). The illustrations I have found are not good enough. Can anyone help me?

Thank you

Christine

Try to look at this paper for the SSP technique.
Maybe by understanding what they use it for, it will help you to understand the technique principle.
