Here is a new article in the NYT about the teaching of human evolution in our schools.One shocking quote "In Gallup polls over the last 25 years, nearly half of American adults have consistently said they believe God created all living things in their present form, sometime in the last 10,000 years."As a scientist, this stat is very depressing. We are setting ourselves back as a scientific community if we don't teach the next generation how to look at information critically. These people are believing in things that are false.
