This NEW Gordon Conference will highlight recent advances that further our understanding of the mechanisms by which proteins are transported across or integrated into membranes in eukaryotic cells, bacteria, archaea and organelles. A major goal of the conference is to assemble scientists who use a variety of different experimental approaches to study protein transport phenomena. In addition to the invited presentations, there will also be short talks in each session that feature "late breaking" results. The speakers for these talks will be chosen in the spring based on the abstracts that are submitted.
