Medical imaging plays a critical role in the development of novel therapeutics however there is great variability in how these images are collected, analyzed and stored. Industry, academia and government officials must collaborate with core laboratories, CRO’s, imaging consultants and other vendors in order to determine a gold standard in image acquisition and analysis. This conference provides a forum for medical imaging stakeholders and thought leaders to collaborate and examine the concept of harmonizing and standardizing medical imaging data acquisition, interpretation and charter development for effective clinical decision making and appropriate regulatory submission.

Topics Being Researched Include:

Standardization of imaging at individual clinical sites
Harmonization among multi-center trials
Exploring uniformed procedures in image acquisition and analysis
Data driven adaptive imaging trials
Impact of IT on imaging in drug development

Hear what some of our previous attendees had to say:

“The use of medical images in clinical trials is advancing at an increasing rate and the continuity provided by this conference will help to keep important issues moving forward.”
– David Raunig, Ph.D., Associate Director, Translational Medicine and Technology Statistics, Pfizer Inc

"This is a great conference, especially for those people who just joined this field. There is great potential using imaging as biomarkers in drug development. This conference gives the audience an overall idea and detail about the current status and the possible issues in this area.”
– Wen-Lin Luo, Ph.D., Senior Biometrician, BARDS, Merck Research Laboratories
