Our lab just bought a BIO-RAD model 680 Microplate reader for testing Chicken serum for SLE and WEE. I am looking for a protocol on how to set-up the microplate reader to do this. Can anyone help? Thank youWe know how to prepare samples but need some help with the acutal reader.
Hi! This message was forwarded by Richard Lee, the Southwest Regional Manager for Bio-Rad (I think the link is dead, but you should be able to get the manual on BioRad's web site):Here's the instruction manual for Mdl680. Refer to Pg. 26, Section 4.3.7 to set up an End-Point Protocol. Personally, I found the optional Microplate Manager software a good investment. It takes the learning curve out of process such as plate & protocol set up. It will also automatically generate standard curve and reports that could export to Excel.
