Fig. 2. Samples of four sets of double labeling analysis of differentiation progeny of neural progenitor cells (a-d , e-h , i-l , m-p). For each set, blue DAPI staining (c, g, k, o) was used to reveal the nuclei of all cells. In a-d, Tuj1 labeled neurons and GFAP labeled astrocytes appeared in complementary patterns. a: Tuj1 (red), b: GFAP (green), d: merge. In e - h , a similar double-labeling experiment revealed GFAP but not NeuN labeling. e: GFAP (red), f: no stain for NeuN, h: merge. In i - l , Tuj1 labeled a subset of nestin-positive cells. i: Tuj1 (red), j : nestin (green), l: merge. In m-p , no NeuN stained cells were observed. m: nestin (red), n: no stain for NeuN, p: merge. Scale bar=50 µ m.
