The Product Manager will drive the marketing efforts for lab automation/liquid handling product line for worldwide markets, and be a key contributor in developing the product line strategy. This position is highly cross functional, requiring broad understanding of products and customers as well as strong relationships across Marketing, Engineering, Sales, and Operations. The successful candidate will be a high energy individual that can provide leadership for guiding internal teams, introducing products, evaluating new technologies, articulating issues, and making clear recommendations to senior management. He/she will create and manage the process used to define a product's features. The Product Manger will develop, communicate, and position the liquid handling product line, working on new product areas of very high complexity and of great potential impact to Velocity11. He/she will have expert knowledge of competitive products and competitor strategy. The Product Manger will create and deliver presentations and conduct group discussions on products for Velocity11’s audiences and will be seen as an ambassador for our liquid handling business, attending tradeshows and customer visits.
