2nd ASM Conference on Beneficial Microbes: Beneficial Host-Microbial Interactions

The field of microbial symbiosis has recently taken center stage in biological sciences. A sophisticated grasp of the nature of normal animal-bacterial associations is key in understanding what goes wrong when pathogenic "interlopers" disrupt the dynamics of complex communities of beneficial bacteria. The goal of this conference is to bring together an array of researchers working in a veriety of arenas, from ecology to molecular biology, to develop this frontier field.
