I would like to see a forum on statistics where people could ask questions as to the best method for analyzing different situations. While some situations are straight forward others are considerably more complex and I know that many scientists do not have a background in statistical analysis.

I agree - have had to meet professional statisticians on at least a couple of occasions to solve what was an absurdly simple problem for them!

I also agree. Sometimes we can use some help discussing with each other about the stats. A forum in statistics would be very helpful here.
