Our customer, a major international business engaged in the research, development, manufacture and marketing of presecription pharmaceuticals and the supply of healthcare services is actively looking for a Post Doctoral Scientist in the are of pharmacology.

Description:
The goal of this post-doctoral position is to develop a conceptual framework by which physiological information stemming from various organ systems is integrated. For example, we would like to better understand the potential relationships (causative or not) between changes in the CNS as measured by EEG and those in the CVS measured in BP and HR. In particular, we aim to characterize various drug classes and their effects (adverse or not) on this multi-organ assessment. This approach will better describe the integrated functional relationship between different organ systems. In addition, validation of the radiotelemetric detection system that measures multiple organ parameters will support early stage project risk assessment.


Qualifications:
Recent Ph.D. level scientist with experience related to in vivo integrative physiology, pharmacology and/or toxicology to drive validation of an in vivo rodent multi-organ system assay platform.
Incumbent must have familiarity with in vivo cardiovascular and CNS organ systems with working understanding of renal, hepatic and GI function.
Excellent communication and writing skills.
