data, while monitoring for trends and abnormalities. Performs project work, an
d leads laboratory investigations. Develops methods and processes.

Major Res
ponsibilities

Microbiologist
• Performs testing on a range of samples, incl
uding chemical raw materials, components (including packaging materials), finis
hed products, stability samples, water, and environmental samples.
• Maintains
and troubleshoots testing equipment.
• Provides and follows up on ideas for c
ontinuous improvements in laboratory processes.

SR Microbiologist

• Perfo
rms project work, and participates in investigations.
• Trains QC employees in
GMP, SHE, QC methods and processes.
• Troubleshoots methods and processes.
•
Serves as an expert in a specific area of laboratory equipment, process, or sy
stem.

Lead Microbiologist

• May serve as the primary link between QC team
and QA Facilitator
• Coordinates workflow in QC team. Directs priorities and
testing schedules.
• Verifies and approves QC data, while monitoring for trend
s and abnormalities. Reports, and acts on data results.
• Serves as QC lead fo
r investigations involving PET process areas, related to QC processes or data,
such as sampling, deviations potentially affecting QC results, investigational
sampling and testing.
• Leads project work and investigations.
• Develops and
validates new methods and processes.
• Serves as primary contact for contract
services, including laboratory testing.

Position will be required to come i
n at start of operational shift on a rotating basis (~5:30am) with other Micro
staff.
