Which ICP-MS would you recommend for the analysis of close-vessel digested pharmaceutical or dietary samples? The anyalytes of interest are "heavy metals".

We are predominately an environmental testing analytical lab, but also handle a fair number of samples that are from food oils, etc. We purchased the Agilent system and have found it to be very robust for our purposes. After narrowing the vendor list based upon overall capabilities we had the top two run prepped digestates. The Agilent system handled the variety of matrices that we see very handily. The octopole does a very good job of mitigating the interferences.
