Hi everyone
I am a young PhD strudent working about biomaterials nanopatterned surface
Recently, I culture a new cell, C2C12, on my patterned surface
However, I am not very cearly know about how to confirm the behavior of this cell
longer or shorter
wider or thiner
amount of myotubes
fusion expression
which is better or poor for C2C12?
I will appreciate your kind advice

Biocopetability is a vast topic.
There are many ways to check if the cells that are used are "OK" with the material, or with its pattern.
The first step is to compare the cells morphology those who are attaching to the material surface and without the material.
Second you can do are cell attachement assays, the easyest is to try and trypsinize them and compare the time it takes the cells to disattach in both cases.
As per you specific Myoblasts try doing spesific myoblast tests.
Or to check for specific markers.

I still want to know what markers is important for C2C12 differentiation? Could you give me more detail information about this part?
such as I know MHC is a important expression when C2C12 differentiation? But I do not know what situation is good or bad? Is Wider or longer MHC good? multi-nucleus will appear in one cell after fusion? but how to define the degree of fusion/differentiation? some thing like these.
The aim of mine is to compare differentiation degree of C2C12 at different surface. However, I do not know there are how many method to recognize them?

There are many diferentiation marker for c2c12.
I did a PubMed and got 162 different papers:
