Hi
Can anyone help me with in what does Benfotiamine dissovles except pyridine:water( that Sigma recommends)

I surprised that it did not dissolve in DMSO, given that it is essentially a lipophilic thiamine. I did find a report that crystallized it out of an ethanol solution - seems like Sigma also provides it in an Ethanol solution (or atleast it used to) (Acta Cryst. (1993). I tried to get in touch with the scientists from the papers you suggested but in vain :( I am totally clueless about Benfotiamine now !

Check out the first ref - they describe the EtOH/H2O solution, and contact Sigma to see if they can provide you with what that group used.
