I just heard a presentation from the BioIQ team in Santa Barbara. Their elevator marketing pitch is "Netflix meets the early diagnosis of chronic diseases".

Seems like an interesting concept. 23andme and other genetic testing companies are using the same home kit model. Google Health will have a lot of information in their users' health-record accounts soon! This should create a huge potential for new data mining tools to correlate diseases and genes.
