It seems a postdoc's disbelief in evolution led to his firing. The strange part of this story me, is why this postdoc would want to work in a development/evolutionary biology lab in the first place. I think the PI and Woods Hole can insist on a belief in evolution when it is critical to the work being done. The judge ruling on the subsequent lawsuit agreed.
