Can trypsin be used to digest human embryonic stem cell H9?

I bought my human embryonic stem cell line H9 from National Stem Cell Bank half a year ago to induce it's lipofibroblastic differentiation. I digest the cells from feeder layer follow the protocol below with collagen IV.

I will give a trial to do so with trypsin/EDTA, since collagen IV is more expensive. I wonder if anyone used trypsin to digest human embryonic stem cell line H9.

Let us know how your trial goes! I know both collagenase and dispase have become super-expensive over the last year, but always thought trypsin would cleave off surface receptors too - some of which might be critical!
