hello everybody!

I would like to get your kind help for research methods to study the molecular mechanism that make the African trypanosoma to be able to change the gene that encodes for the VSG, so that in a given time only one gene is expressed and the others are "silenced". i know that the parasite can silence one gene expression and to enhance another gene of the VSG in a given time. i want to know how to start a series of experiments that would define that mechanism.

thank you.

Joseph.
