Position Summary:

The successful candidate will conduct high throughput chemistry operations in support of medicinal chemistry and general screening library initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of parallel chemistry methodologies in the production of focused compound libraries in support of oncology medicinal chemistry programs and the embellishment of the corporate screening collection. Close collaborative interactions with computational chemistry, and medicinal chemistry will be required.

Qualifications:

Educated to Ph.D. level in Organic Synthesis with 0-3 years industrial experience. Must have a strong foundation in design, execution and analysis of organic reactions along with relevant experience in the use of automated parallel synthesis and purification techniques. Cheminformatics and analytical chemistry skills are a plus. Excellent communication skills are required as the successful applicant will interact with the computational chemistry, medicinal chemistry, and disease biology groups.
