Have anybody experienzed problems with new caco2 cells from ATCC? I am the manager of a cell lab. where we have been growing caco-2 cells for aprox. 15 years with great succes, but recently, where we several times have gotten new caco-2 cells from ATCC, the cells are not behaving as usual....They seen to have a great difficulty attaching (we havent changed any growing conditions) and I have notised that ATCC recently have included a paragraf in their protocol, that describes that the cells only attach with great difficulty! This paragraph has not been in the protocol before, this makes me think that mabye the problems arose at ATCC and not in my lab???? Is it possible to buy caco-2 cells from any other supplier?
