I have to use a primer which is 72 bp in length. it contains with 42 pb overhang. The reverse primer is shorted in lenth. I ve heard problems regarding the use of long primers, so want to know if this primer is advisable.

The primer sequence is as follows:
5' CAT ATG CAC CAC CAC CAC CAC CAT CTA GTA CCA AGA GGA TCA GCC AAC ATC GCG GTG CAG CGA ATC AAG CGG 3'
